FVMulti-Channel Frequency to Voltage Module
The FV Frequency to Voltage Module provides a convenient method of converting up to six frequency signals to analog voltages that can be fed into common data acquisition equipment. A typical use for the FV Converter is in automotive testing to retrieve engine and wheel speed information. Each channel can be operated in one of four modes. There are three fixed calibrations and one adjustable mode using the external potentiometer. The FV Converter is externally powered from 10 to 28 Volts DC. The power supply input is protected from damage by reverse polarity. The FV Converter also has internal protection against excessive voltage over 28 volts. The FV Converter is housed in a compact, fire resistant metal enclosure, and is rated for operation in the extended industrial temperature range of -40C to +70C. |
